The Bachelorette cast members have signed on for a new sitcom series, with the first episode of the new season set to air on ABC on October 30.
“We have been a fan of the show since day one,” said series co-creator Chris Chibnall.
“I have been watching it for a very long time.
I am excited to have a new season and the opportunity to put all the cast members on the same show.”
Chibnell also shared some behind-the-scenes tidbits about the new series, including the cast’s involvement in filming the season and some of the production techniques they used to shoot the new episodes.
“The casting process is a bit of a secret.
There are many of us involved.
We don’t tell anybody, but there is a process of screening and making sure that we get everything right and we make sure that the cast and crew feel welcome and at ease with each other,” he said.
“There are a lot of people in the cast who have never been on the show before and I think that is the most exciting part about this show.
We are excited to be part of it and have all these amazing people on it.”
For those not in the know, The Bachelor is a series of two-part mini-episodes filmed over three weeks each, and each episode takes place in the same location.
The show’s season finale will air in January 2019, but the cast has yet to announce which location they will be filming in.
The Bachelor airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
ET on ABC.
