Restaurants that specialize in beef have a lot of competition, especially as restaurants become more and more upscale.
So, while a lot are trying to get into the fast food business, restaurants like Cinco de Mayo, which opened in 1933, have a good chance of winning the award for best steak deal.
It’s also one of the more expensive deals to get at restaurants, with prices starting at $20 and topping out at $300.
Here are some of the best deals at Cincon.
The Steak and Pizzeria at Cincin del MarIn the early 1930s, Cincinno del Mar was known as the best in the city, said John Boudreau, who owns Cincom Del Mar Steak & Pizzas.
In the late 1950s, he started offering a steak and pizzeria, where he would serve steak and chicken sandwiches with an assortment of toppings and a variety of toppables.
Today, the restaurant serves more than 100 sandwiches and sandwiches with toppings, he said.
The restaurant has been around since 1955, but now serves a large selection of steak sandwiches, including a steak topped with cheddar, Swiss and a sweet onion sandwich, he added.
Cincom del Mar has won the award twice.
In 2003, the menu was revamped to include a more upscale menu and steak options.
In 2006, the steak and pizzeria received an upgrade, including steak options, added cheese, and more salads and pastas.
The new menu included the original cheddar and bacon cheeseburger and the classic cheddar-and-sausage burger, Boudoir said.
Boudouss family opened the restaurant in 1934.
The Boudons, who are also the owners of Cinclon Grill and Deli, opened the first Cincons del Mar in 1939.
Cincin Del Mar has been owned by the Boudos for nearly 70 years, and it still serves a delicious steak sandwich, said Steve Boudou, president of Cincins Del Mar Restaurants.
The steak is cooked to order and comes with a variety, from ground chuck and brisket to beef and lamb.
The meats are fresh and the staff is always attentive, he explained.
Cinchons restaurant in Chicago’s LoopThe menu at Cinchons in Chicago has a very unique flavor, said Boudoud, who also serves as co-owner of the Cinchon Grill & Pics restaurant in Evanston, Ill.
The menu changes frequently.
Boulud offers beef brisket sandwiches and a steak with chicken and potato, Boulou said.
His steak is topped with fresh tomato, bacon and lettuce.
A selection of sides are available, including fried chicken, cheese, salads and sandwiches.
The sandwich is served on a bed of corn tortillas and is also served with rice and beans.
The breakfast menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Cinchos is open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with brunch and dinner on Sundays from 10 a.ms. to 2 p.ms., Boudoul said.
The Cinchins in Chicago is a popular spot for people to enjoy a steak, Bousou said, and the steak comes out to a nice medium-rare, he noted.
He added that Cinchones menu can change at any time, and there is always an opportunity to sample different steak options on the menu.
