It’s also a little pricey, at $5.49 per 16 oz. can.
But it has become a staple at many Mexican restaurants, where the sauces come with a side of toppings such as avocado, jalapeños and pickled peppers.
If you can find it, though, this is a good, healthy way to start the day.
The recipe comes from a Mexican restaurant in California called El Mariachi.

I tried one of their Mexicali chili and the Mexicana chile spicy steak sauce.
It was a good combination of flavor and texture.
The Mexiconita spiced and pinto beans spice up the spices chicken and the poblano peppers, and the sauce has an earthy kick to it. There are three chilies and three peppers.
And, of course, there’s the tomato sauce.
It’s made with tomatoes, onions, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and cumin.
