‘No, we are not closing’: Restaurant owner apologizes for ‘horrible’ reviews

An owner of an upscale steak restaurant in the Montreal suburb of Saint-Hubert is apologizing after the reviews section of the website for his restaurant sparked outrage.
The review section of a restaurant review site for a steak restaurant opened on Monday, and the reviews were a mix of praise for the restaurant’s menu, criticism for the staff, and some criticism for its steak.
According to the restaurant owner, the reviews came from disgruntled employees and disgruntled customers, and that’s why they have a section on Yelp that includes their names and phone numbers.
But the owner said he’s done nothing wrong, and there’s nothing wrong with his restaurant.
“I think it’s a shame, because we have a great reputation,” he said.
“The staff are very kind, very professional, very attentive.
We are not closed.
I have a lot of customers.
There is nothing wrong here.”
The owner said his steakhouse is an open-air, all-you-can-eat steakhouse.
He said he was not concerned about his reviews being shared widely on social media, and he was only worried about negative reviews, which he said are usually directed towards him.
“It’s been very bad, I would like to say, but I’m not the only one.
There are a lot more, too,” he added.”
In fact, I think it was because of the reviews that people thought I had closed the place.”
But the owners’ restaurant has had more positive reviews than negative ones.
One reviewer on Yelp wrote that the restaurant was “not just great for dinner, but good for cocktails and wine.”
Another said the restaurant had a “very good menu” and that it was a “great restaurant.”
“I have to agree with all of you, but you have to do a little bit more than what is advertised to the best of your ability,” the reviewer wrote.
“At least we have an open space, with good seating and plenty of parking,” another added.
In the comments section, one person wrote that he was “surprised to see a restaurant with a review section like this” and was “shocked and disgusted” by the reviews.
The restaurant owner said the review section is a part of his business and he respects reviews.
“You are welcome to leave a negative review, I am very careful not to make a public issue of something that I do not want,” he told CBC News.
“If you have a negative experience, let me know.
I’m happy to take that.
I will be more than happy to fix the problems.”
